Hi! I’m Amanda. Solo parent to a rambunctious little boy, full time employee, and entrepreneur. The overwhelm can be REAL! At the end of a long day, you just want to come home to a warm, comfortable, and inviting home...but your house is a mess.

I’ve been a packrat. I’ve used shopping as therapy. I constantly restyled my spaces with the new “it” look, even though it never felt completely right.

I finally got tired of it. I wanted a space that I LOVED and was totally ME. I wanted a home that was easy to take care of and made me smile.

I decluttered, and in the process, discovered who I was so that I could style my home with quality pieces that would last and virtually always be items I LOVED.

Now, I want to help you find YOUR HOME. And I don’t want it to take you as long as it took me.

I remember the first time I really designed my bedroom as a kid. I painted all the walls a deep dark navy blue, and counter-balanced the darkness with white linens and rug. Everything was beach themed. I still love that room.

My style, like everyone’s, has evolved over the years, but certain things have stuck. Navy blue has always been my favorite color, followed closely by dark green, and I LOVE nature. A quite beach is still my favorite place to be, followed closely by a forest. (Hmmm...blue water and green trees....yep, my favorite colors come from nature.) And when it comes to interiors, I’ve always loved curvy antiques. I used to go to antique stores as a kid and fell in love with all those carved Victorian details and sensual Baroque legs on furniture.

So how do fancy antiques and serene nature go together? Enter wabi sabi, the Japanese philosophy that embraces the beauty of imperfection, transience, and simplicity. Today, I prefer my antiques to show their wear and tear (perfect when you have a little kid), my walls to look like old plaster (kid friendly again!), and my home to be cozy and filled with plants.
